Job Description

**Job Title:** Data Science Intern **Role Summary:** Assist Data Science team on real business projects in the insurance sector, applying analytics tools, building algorithms with big data, and supporting data migration and reporting tool adoption. **Expectations:** - Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a graduate‑level degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. - Highly motivated with strong customer‑service and communication skills. - Self‑starter willing to learn new tools, follow guidance, and collaborate across teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Acquire deep understanding of company services and capabilities using latest reporting and analysis tools. - Support migration of existing corporate data to new systems. - Analyze data relationships and develop algorithms for application design and development. - Train end users on data acquisition and maximization of reporting tools. - Participate in business projects, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in data analysis and statistical concepts. - Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI). - Ability to work with large datasets and build predictive or descriptive models. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Independent problem‑solving ability and teamwork orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a graduate‑level program in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline. - No specific certifications required, but familiarity with data‑science related certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, or equivalent) is a plus.
