Job Description
**Job Title** Consumer Data Analyst **Role Summary** The Consumer Data Analyst converts fragmented marketing, customer, and product data into clean, reusable assets that drive decision‑making across the Marketing, Product, and Analytics functions. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and governance, and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and analysis. **Expectations** * 1–2 years of data‑engineering or analyst experience. * Proficiency in SQL, Python, and API development. * Hands‑on experience building pipelines on Google Cloud (BigQuery, dbt, Airflow). * Strong data‑modeling skills and a product‑oriented mindset. * Comfortable navigating ambiguity, self‑directing, and collaborating cross‑functionally. * Passion for consumer analytics, visualization, and continuous learning. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Data Pipeline Development** – Design, build, and maintain batch and real‑time pipelines using BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow. 2. **Data Integration** – Ingest core data sources (Adobe CDP, Emarsys, Magento, paid‑media platforms) into the central warehouse. 3. **Data Quality & Governance** – Implement validation checks, resolve quality issues, document processes, and align with governance standards. 4. **Analytics & Visualization Support** – Collaborate on Tableau dashboards; analyze customer segmentation, campaign performance, and other marketing metrics. 5. **Stakeholder Collaboration** – Work with marketing, product, and analytics teams to understand requirements, provide data access, and translate findings into actionable insights. 6. **Product Ownership** – Treat data as a core business asset: define standards, champion quality, and iterate on data products. **Required Skills** * **Technical** – Advanced SQL, Python, API integration, GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow), dbt, Airflow, data modeling, data governance. * **Analytical** – Exploratory data analysis, customer segmentation, marketing performance measurement, visualization (Tableau or equivalent). * **Soft Skills** – Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem‑solving, adaptability, curiosity, and growth‑mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Google Cloud Certified – Professional Data Engineer (preferred).
