Job Description
**Job Title** Remote Account Executive **Role Summary** Drive new business growth for a high‑growth energy‑technology SaaS company by owning the full sales cycle from prospect qualification to close, focusing on multi‑building customers (10+ sites). Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine GTM strategy, support lead generation through partner relationships, and identify cross‑sell opportunities within an existing client base. Operate within a scaling enterprise where process development and autonomy are essential. **Expectations** - Deliver new logo pipeline and close deals at an ACV of ≈£120k, achieving 12‑month revenue targets. - Maintain a qualified pipeline that aligns with business objectives and demonstrates deal readiness. - Scale and document sales processes for repeatability across the organization. - Uphold strong commercial discipline, defending value against discounting and maintaining margin integrity. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct end‑to‑end sales cycle for large, complex energy‑technology contracts (3–24‑month cycle). - Multi‑thread stakeholder engagement: identify, qualify, and secure consensus from technical, financial, and executive decision makers. - Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and product teams to refine messaging, proposals, and feedback loops. - Build and maintain partner relationships (ticketing, facility management, CMS, service engineering) to generate qualified leads. - Manage account growth: nurture key clients, identify cross‑sell opportunities, and extend relationships to new buildings. - Document and improve sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline reporting. **Required Skills** - Proven track record closing SaaS or complex B2B deals in multi‑stakeholder environments. - Experience selling to the built‑environment, energy‑tech, or climate‑tech sectors (preferred). - Ability to manage long sales cycles (≈6 months) and navigate multi‑thread selling. - Strong commercial acumen: value‑based selling, avoiding discount traps. - Familiarity with sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN) and building repeatable processes. - Excellent communication: articulate complex technical value to both technical and non‑technical audiences. - Self‑starter mentality: proactive, autonomous, thrives in a remote‑first setting with minimal structure. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Business, Engineering, or related field. - Certifications in relevant sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger) are a plus.
