Job Description

Job Title Front‑End Web Developer Role Summary Build, test, and maintain high‑quality, responsive web applications primarily on WordPress, with secondary expertise in Drupal theming. Deliver scalable, reusable code, optimize performance, and ensure security across CMS platforms. Expectations - 2–4 years of professional front‑end development experience. - Proven ability to collaborate with 3–5 team members on shared projects. - Strong communication skills; capable of client‑facing discussions and internal coordination. - Ability to gather and interpret project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement WordPress or Drupal based applications per specifications. - Explore and adopt new development technologies and best practices. - Conduct unit and regression testing for all code delivered. - Perform ongoing maintenance and updates on existing implementations. - Document code and project deliverables clearly for internal and external stakeholders. Required Skills - Solid proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery. - Experience with responsive front‑end frameworks and performance optimization for WordPress and MySQL. - Knowledge of version control using Git. - Drupal theming experience preferred; React experience is a plus. - Familiarity with source‑control tools such as Drush and Acquia platforms is advantageous. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience. - No mandatory certifications required; preferred relevant experience with Acquia, Drush, or React is desirable.
