Job Description
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of core platform modules, APIs, and web interfaces for a cloud‑based dental industry application, ensuring high quality, scalability, and security across the full stack. Expectations: Deliver architecturally sound, production‑ready code; mentor junior developers; set and enforce coding and security standards; collaborate cross‑functionally to release reliable features on schedule. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain core application features and backend services. - Develop and expose APIs using GraphQL (AppSync). - Implement and integrate services within the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, Cognito, etc.). - Define and enforce application architecture, performance, and security best practices. - Collaborate with product, UI/UX, and stakeholders to deliver clean, reliable releases. - Review code, mentor developers, and promote coding standards. - Optimize CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes on AWS. Required Skills - ≥6 years of modern web application development experience. - Advanced proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Strong experience building GraphQL APIs. - Deep knowledge of the AWS ecosystem (compute, storage, database, identity, serverless). - Proficiency in at least one additional language (Python, C++, or equivalent). - Familiarity with unit/integration testing frameworks. - Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and independent architectural decision‑making abilities. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) are preferred.
