Job Description

**Job title** Senior Security Analyst **Role Summary** Design, implement, and manage enterprise‑level security solutions to protect digital assets. Lead firewall, SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection configurations, conduct vulnerability assessments, enforce network segmentation, and provide incident response. Collaborate with IT to harden systems, develop policies, and educate staff on best practices. **Expactations** - 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering or equivalent experience. - Advanced knowledge of firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Strong cryptography fundamentals and incident response capabilities. - Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell). - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Configure, maintain, and manage firewalls, SIEM, DLP, email, and endpoint protection. - Develop and enforce network segmentation policies to enhance security and performance. - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, recommend, and implement remediation actions. - Collaborate with IT teams to design secure network architecture and harden systems. - Draft and update security policies, procedures, and technical documentation. - Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices. - Provide security awareness guidance and best‑practice training. - Implement and manage security controls for Microsoft 365. **Required Skills** - Network security fundamentals: firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, segmentation. - Cloud security for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. - Cryptography: encryption, hashing, PKI. - Incident response, digital forensics, disaster recovery. - Email security technologies: anti‑phishing, anti‑spam, encryption. - Scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred certifications: CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or comparable.
