Job Description
Job title: Customer Success Manager – AI & SaaS Role Summary: Lead strategic relationships with key Canadian government and workforce development customers, driving deep adoption of an AI-powered SaaS platform, securing renewals/upsells, and translating customer insights into product strategy. Expectations: - Deliver high-impact outcomes in a fast‑paced, high‑growth SaaS environment. - Serve as a trusted advisor to executive‑level stakeholders and act as the primary voice of the customer. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and nurture executive‑level partnerships across C‑suite stakeholders and frontline teams. - Own the end‑to‑end customer journey: complex onboarding, implementation, and long‑term success management, coordinating cross‑functional resources. - Drive platform adoption beyond basic usage, guiding clients to transform operations with full AI capabilities. - Proactively manage portfolio commercial health: renewals, upsells, and expansion initiatives. - Translate customer needs into actionable insights for product roadmap and AI strategy. Required Skills: - 3‑5+ years’ customer success, account management, or client delivery experience in B2B SaaS or top‑tier consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG). - Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking; proven ability to solve ambiguous, complex problems. - Executive presence: strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Project management expertise: manage multiple concurrent projects, deliver on timelines and deliverables. - Commercial acumen: understanding of SaaS metrics, renewal drivers, and growth tactics. - Data‑driven mindset: interpret complex data to surface insights. - Empathy and accountability: manage sensitive, high‑stakes conversations. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. - Consulting or industry‑specific certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional) preferred but not mandatory.
