Job Description
Job title: Backend & Cloud Software Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑based backend and full‑stack software for medical imaging solutions, focusing on mammogram processing. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate user interfaces and third‑party tools into Therapixel’s workflow. Ensure high performance, security, and scalability while participating in architecture decisions and CI/CD pipeline management. Expectations: * Demonstrated expertise in either TypeScript or Golang for backend development. * Experience deploying full‑stack web applications on cloud platforms. * Proficiency with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and Git‑driven CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins). * Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Linux scripting, and medical data standards (DICOM). * Strong communication skills in English, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative attitude. Key Responsibilities: * Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud‑native backend services (Node.js, TypeScript, Golang, PostgreSQL). * Develop and maintain front‑end components (TypeScript, JS, CSS, HTML) as needed. * Configure and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters; maintain CI/CD pipelines. * Add new features, fix bugs, and optimize existing code for performance and security compliance. * Write automated deployment, configuration, and update scripts. * Research and prototype emerging technologies to improve product capabilities. * Produce and maintain technical documentation and system architecture documentation. * Coordinate with product, QA, and operations teams to determine interface requirements and deliver solutions. Required Skills: * Strong programming skills in TypeScript or Golang. * Full‑stack web application development experience (frontend and backend). * Git version control and CI/CD pipeline management (GitLab, Jenkins). * Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). * Linux command‑line and scripting (bash, sh). * Relational database (SQL) proficiency, especially PostgreSQL. * Familiarity with medical imaging data formats (DICOM) and related communication protocols. * Ability to write unit and integration tests; CI/CD pipeline integration. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field. * Minimum 2 years of professional experience developing and maintaining complex software systems. ---
