Job Description: **Job Title** Founding Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the architecture and engineering of a production‑grade, AI‑driven creator marketplace platform. Design the technical roadmap, build scalable systems, integrate language models, and lay the foundation for future engineering hires while collaborating directly with founders on product and growth strategy. **Expectations** - Execute end‑to‑end engineering from design to production. - Make foundational architecture decisions that support rapid growth. - Employ best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment. - Mentor early‑stage engineers and influence hiring. - Align technology with a product‑first, mission‑driven vision. **Key Responsibilities** - Refactor and expand the current MVP into a robust, scalable platform. - Define and implement a technical roadmap, prioritizing high‑impact features. - Integrate AI/LLM capabilities for creator matching, workflow automation, and data insights. - Build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on AWS or GCP. - Design and expose REST/GraphQL APIs, ensuring security and scalability. - Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring. - Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and iterative releases in an Agile environment. - Recruit and onboard new engineering talent, setting coding standards and mentorship. - Partner with product and growth teams to align engineering deliverables with business goals. **Required Skills** - 4+ years as a full‑stack engineer or system architect. - Proven track record of launching and scaling SaaS products. - Deep knowledge of React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems. - Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or equivalent). - Strong experience with relational & NoSQL databases, API design, and scalable infrastructure. - Active experimentation with large language models (LLMs) and AI integration. - Comfortable with Agile/Scrum methodology and rapid iteration. - Product‑centric mindset, able to navigate ambiguity and startup pace. - Passion for social impact, creator rights, and responsible technology. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
