Job Description

**Job title** Embedded Software Validation Engineer (Male/Female) **Role Summary** Conduct validation of embedded software and systems for automotive applications. Analyze specifications, design and execute test plans, automate test cases, and document results. Ensure traceability from requirements to test coverage using industry tools. **Expactations** - Prior experience (minimum 2–3 years) in automotive software validation. - Proficiency with CANoe / CANalyzer, Winadec / Inca. - Familiarity with functional validation phases and test automation (CAPL or equivalent). - Knowledge of Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) setups and DSpace environments. - Ability to manage requirement traceability (Doors, Requisite). **Key Responsibilities** - Interpret software and system specifications. - Draft validation plans and detailed test cases. - Execute manual and automated tests (using CANoe/CANalyzer, CAPL scripts). - Capture and transmit test data over CAN bus. - Analyze test results and identify deviations. - Produce concise test reports and logs. - Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results. **Required Skills** - Automotive domain knowledge. - Strong command of CANoe / CANalyzer, Winadec / Inca. - Scripting in CAPL or similar language. - Experience with HIL bench testing. - Familiarity with DSpace and configuration management tools. - Analytical, detail‑oriented, and effective communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Certifications in automotive software validation (e.g., ISO 26262) or test automation are advantageous.
