Job Description

**Job Title:** Cloud Project Manager **Role Summary:** Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud‑based software projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Provides strategic leadership, manages cross‑functional teams, controls budgets, mitigates risks, and ensures alignment with business objectives for a six‑month hybrid engagement. **Expectations:** - Deliver complex cloud projects on aggressive schedules. - Coordinate internal resources and external vendors. - Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and executive leadership. - Drive change management and conflict resolution. - Ensure project budgets and resource allocations stay within governance limits. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. - Utilize Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps for tracking, reporting, and status updates. - Lead and coach project teams, including junior project managers. - Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and maintain a productive PMO environment. - Build and sustain stakeholder relationships; act as trusted advisor. - Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; report progress continuously. - Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and conduct capacity planning. - Lead transformation and organizational change initiatives to ensure solution adoption. - Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes and stay current on industry trends. **Required Skills:** - Project planning & execution (Waterfall & Agile) - Strong stakeholder and vendor management - Risk, issue, and budget management - Team leadership and coaching - Change management and conflict resolution - Proficiency with Microsoft Project (≥2 years) and Azure DevOps (≥1 year) - Excellent communication and reporting skills **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum: High School diploma/GED + 9 years relevant experience (experience can be offset by education) - Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Project Management (counts as 4 years experience) - PMP Certification (required) - CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) Certification (required)
