**Job Title** Software Engineer Intern **Role Summary** A full‑time, 12‑week summer internship focused on building a next‑generation machine‑learning‑based ad‑serving platform. Interns work as junior engineers within a cross‑functional team, contributing to production‑grade code, system design, and internal tooling. **Expectations** - Work full‑time (40 hrs/week) during the summer months; available to work from office. - Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science or a related field; expected to graduate by June 2027. - Demonstrate strong coding, problem‑solving, and algorithmic skills. - Deliver high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable code under real‑world production constraints. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and maintain high‑performance backend services for ad delivery. - Enhance system scalability, availability, and performance of low‑latency servers. - Develop suite of internal tools to boost developer productivity and system efficiency. - Process and transform unstructured logs, messages, and events into structured data for analytics and ML pipelines. - Build data pipelines for big‑data manipulation and management. - Create APIs to expose campaign results and insights to external partners. - Collaborate with PMs, UI designers, and other engineers to ship new features. **Required Skills** - Strong background in data structures and algorithms. - Proficient in at least one server‑side language (C/C++, Java, Go, Rust). - Familiarity with distributed systems concepts or database technologies. - Experience with system design, performance tuning, and reliability engineering. - Ability to write clean, well‑documented, and testable code. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science or closely related technical discipline. - Expected to obtain degree by June 2027 (for Bachelor’s/Master’s candidates). ---
