**Job Title:** Vice President, Operations
**Role Summary:**
Strategic executive responsible for integrating and leading Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology functions to drive operational excellence, organizational transformation, and sustainable growth in a mission‑driven nonprofit environment. Reports to the Executive Director and serves as primary liaison to the Board and key stakeholders.
**Expectations:**
- Align corporate functions with the organization’s strategic plan and long‑term objectives.
- Deliver fiscal responsibility, risk mitigation, and compliance across all operational areas.
- Lead change‑management initiatives, accreditation readiness, and continuous‑improvement programs.
- Foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture and maintain strong stakeholder communication.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner with Executive Director and senior team to execute strategic plans and develop performance metrics.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audits, and funder/regulatory compliance.
- Direct HR strategy: workforce planning, talent development, EDI implementation, and employment‑law compliance.
- Develop and execute an IT roadmap: digital transformation, infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration, and vendor management.
- Serve as chief liaison to the Board (Finance, Audit, HR & IT committees); prepare reports and recommendations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks; implement evaluation and reporting systems for continuous improvement.
- Ensure organizational readiness for accreditation and external reviews.
**Required Skills:**
- Visionary strategic thinking with proven operational execution.
- Strong financial acumen; experience managing complex funding structures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Proficiency in enterprise systems (e.g., Zoho One, HRIS, CRM, finance platforms).
- Knowledge of nonprofit governance, board engagement, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead change, drive innovation, and promote accountability.
- Fluency in an East or Southeast Asian language (Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Cambodian) is a strong asset.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional designation (strongly preferred).
- Minimum 10 years senior leadership experience overseeing Finance, HR, and IT in the nonprofit sector (community health/mental health experience advantageous).
