Job Title: Data Scientist Role Summary: Specialize in NLP and Conversational AI model development, optimization, and integration for client-facing conversational agents. Focus on text corpus annotation, dialogue-adapted NLP architecture design, and collaboration with development teams. Expactations: - Develop and optimize NLP and Conversational AI models for language processing and dialogue systems - Prepare and annotate large-scale text datasets for model training - Design dialogue-specific NLP models (e.g., transformers, embeddings) - Evaluate model performance (accuracy, relevance, tone) and adjust hyperparameters - Integrate models into Azure Bot Framework with engineering teams Key Responsibilities: 1. Build and train NLP models for conversational agents and language processing 2. Curate, preprocess, and annotate high-quality text corpora 3. Architect and refine transformer-based models for dialogue systems 4. Conduct model evaluation and tuning to optimize response quality 5. Collaborate with developers to deploy models in Azure Bot Framework 6. Maintain compliance with data science quality standards and methodologies 7. Monitor NLP/AI trends and implement performance improvements Required Skills: - Advanced NLP model development (transformers, embeddings) - Conversational AI system design and evaluation - Python programming and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn) - NLP frameworks: Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy - Azure Bot Framework integration experience - Text data preprocessing and annotation techniques - Hyperparameter optimization strategies Required Education & Certifications: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field. Certified NLP or AI specialization preferred.
