**Job title:** Solar & Wind Project Development Intern **Role Summary:** Provide hands‑on support to the project development team by identifying and qualifying renewable energy sites, conducting technical, regulatory, and environmental feasibility studies, and assisting in the preparation of proposals and stakeholder engagement. **Expectations:** - Work full‑time during a 6‑month internship (February or March 2026). - Actively contribute to the pipeline of solar and wind projects. - Demonstrate proactive problem‑solving, rigorous analysis, and effective communication with owners, local authorities, and suppliers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist territorial developers in locating suitable renewable energy sites (solar, wind, storage). - Evaluate technical constraints (servitudes, right‑of‑way, grid connectivity) and record findings for project qualification. - Perform pre‑feasibility studies: technical, regulatory, environmental, and land‑use assessments. - Conduct on‑site visits and generate technical surveys. - Analyse and validate productability studies (P50/P90) using expert software (HELIOS 3D, PV‑Design, etc.) in collaboration with the internal engineering office. - Identify, contact, and coordinate with landowners and local authorities; prepare and attend stakeholder meetings. - Review proposals from external experts (environmental studies, equipment suppliers) and assess technical/economic trade‑offs (cost, capacity, carbon footprint). - Draft and update project proposals, support offer preparation, and manage follow‑ups with prospects. - Contribute to the development of prospecting tools, methodologies, and process improvements. - Conduct competitive intelligence and maintain accurate reporting of prospecting activities. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret technical and regulatory data. - Familiarity with renewable energy design software (HELIOS 3D, PV‑Design, similar). - Basic knowledge of P50/P90 productability analysis. - Excellent written and oral communication in French; English proficiency preferred. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrolment in a Master’s (Bac+5) program in engineering, energy systems, environmental studies, project management, or geospatial analysis. - Coursework or experience related to renewable energy, project feasibility, or geospatial data is advantageous.
