Job Description
**Job Title:** Proposals Manager **Role Summary:** Oversees end-to-end proposal development across North America, ensuring strategic alignment with client needs and organizational goals. Leads cross-functional collaboration to create competitive, compliant bids and deliverables for diverse industry sectors. **Expectations:** Develop and implement win strategies; manage proposal timelines and quality; optimize resource allocation; maintain CRM data accuracy; coach proposal teams; ensure adherence to RFP requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop win plans, including SWOT analysis, executive summaries, and team execution strategies. - Plan and direct proposal phases: analyze RFPs, draft response plans, conduct kick-offs, manage in-progress reviews, and finalize submissions. - Collaborate with operations and technical teams to design innovative, value-driven solutions. - Ensure proposal compliance, formatting, and alignment with win themes, securing management approvals. - Manage bid clarifications, track registry, and maintain sales collateral (project descriptions, capability statements). - Coach proposal teams on strategic concepts, functional skills, and cross-team collaboration. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint Online, Adobe software. - Proficiency in contract/execution risk assessment, commercial fundamentals. - Strong verbal/written communication (English). - Critical thinking for ambiguous task resolution; proactive problem-solving. - Independent time management, ability to prioritize under deadline constraints. - Relationship-building with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Project Management, or related field. - 5+ years in Sales/Project Engineering/Management preferred. - No mandatory certifications (technical software proficiencies required).
