**Job Title:** Junior Solution Engineer **Role Summary:** Support pre‑sales initiatives by analyzing customer requirements, conducting product demonstrations, and building proof‑of‑concepts for IT automation and orchestration solutions. Act as a technical collaborator with sales and partner teams to design, test, and validate integrations across hybrid environments. **Expectations:** - Deliver technical expertise during customer engagements. - Build and maintain custom integrations to extend product functionality. - Document integration designs, best practices, and solutions. - Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, and proof‑of‑concept projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist Solution Engineers in understanding technical needs and business challenges of prospects. - Analyze client requirements with sales and partner teams and propose tailored solutions. - Develop, test, and validate product integrations across Windows, Linux/Unix, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenStack). - Prepare and deliver compelling, customer‑specific product demonstrations. - Create and maintain custom integration scripts and components. - Document configuration settings, integration workflows, and troubleshooting procedures. - Respond to RFIs and supportRequest for Information documents. **Required Skills:** - Programming: Python scripting; familiarity with Java or shell scripting. - Operating Systems: Windows and Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting. - Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or OpenStack (basic exposure). - Databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL – basic management concepts. - Web Servers: Tomcat or similar. - Analytical: Diagnose technical issues and devise solutions. - Communication: Clear verbal and written communication; explain technical concepts to mixed audiences. - Self‑motivation: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR actively pursuing a degree. - No mandatory certifications required, but knowledge of relevant cloud or database certifications is a plus.
