About the Company

Every once in a while, a new creative tool arrives that completely changes how stories are told. The printing press did it. The camera did it. The personal computer did it. And now, we’re at the dawn of a new era: generative video. Millions of creators are using AI to dream up worlds and characters we’ve never seen before. But here’s the problem — the tools they’re forced to use are stuck in the past. Disconnected apps. Stacked subscriptions. Legacy editors built before AI and before the cloud. The result is chaos: higher costs, broken workflows, and lost creativity. That’s why we built Novella Prolog. It’s the first editing platform made for the AI era. A single place where creators can generate, edit, and collaborate — seamlessly. Prolog unifies what’s today a mess of scattered tools into one clean, intuitive workflow. Import your footage, or generate new shots with models like Sora, Runway, and Luma. Edit with pro-grade precision. Collaborate instantly, right in the browser. And when you need to, you can round-trip to Resolve, Premiere, or Final Cut without missing a beat. The vision is simple: editing becomes prompting. Imagine drafting a cut the same way you draft an email. The system understands your style, your pacing, your story logic — and gets you 80% of the way there before you even touch the timeline. The market is massive. By 2030, AI content creation alone will exceed $80 billion. More than 200 million video creators are already adopting AI into their workflows. They’re hungry for a tool that actually works the way they do. And that’s our advantage. We’re not just building software. We’re building the operating system for generative filmmaking. The platform creators will live in. The one they’ll use every single day to bring their ideas to life. This is not about adding AI features to an old editor. This is about re-inventing the editing platform itself. And we believe Novella Prolog will be the tool that defines this new era of storytelling.
