Job Description
Job title: Intern QA Analyst Role Summary: Assist in ensuring the quality and functionality of an eProcurement CLM platform by conducting functional, regression, and integration testing, creating and executing test cases, reporting bugs, and contributing to automation and documentation in an Agile environment. Expectations: - Complete end‑to‑end testing of the platform. - Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects quickly. - Gain exposure to full software development life cycle practices. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in functional, regression, and integration tests for the CLM platform. - Analyze requirements to estimate testing effort and refine user stories. - Write, maintain, and execute test cases to verify business requirements. - Track and report bugs using Jira and X-ray; collaborate with team members to resolve issues. - Support and enhance the test automation framework with Selenium and Python. - Contribute clear, concise test documentation. - Attend Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning) and communicate progress and blockers. - Identify and suggest improvements to the testing process. Required Skills: - Basic knowledge of software development and testing processes. - Familiarity with testing tools (Jira, Selenium, Postman) and automation frameworks. - Understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts (Java, Python). - Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Familiarity with SQL and database concepts. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work effectively in a team. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required; excellence in academic or practical experience in QA or software testing preferred.
