Job Description
**Job Title** Research Intern (Deep Learning) **Role Summary** Collaborate with autonomous driving experts to design and develop large-scale foundational models using real-world data. Focus on deploying deep learning models (e.g., VLMs, LLMs) and optimizing them for real-time performance in autonomous systems. Develop multi-modality models for 3D object detection, tracking, segmentation, video understanding, scene interpretation, traffic control, and trajectory prediction. **Expectations** Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design and develop large-scale foundation models using deep learning techniques. 2. Translate open-ended problems into well-defined ML/RL tasks for real-world implementation. 3. Build and deploy deep learning models (vision-language, large language models) for autonomous driving. 4. Implement multi-modality/multi-task models for perception, understanding, and decision-making. 5. Optimize models for real-time execution under constrained runtime environments. **Required Skills** - Strong foundation in deep learning, ML algorithm development - Proficiency in Python/C++ for software design and system development - Experience with model training, evaluation, and deployment - Data pipeline management with large-scale datasets - Familiarity with multi-modal model architectures **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s or PhD candidate in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or equivalent technical field.
