Job Description
**Job Title:** Frontend Engineer **Role Summary:** Develop and maintain a complex, real‑time frontend platform built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Transform Figma designs into production‑ready code, ensure architectural robustness, and contribute to tooling improvements for software‑engineer users. **Expectations:** - Become productive on the existing codebase from day 1. - Deliver clean, maintainable, and performant UI components. - Provide feedback on AI‑assisted coding tools and help shape their evolution. - Collaborate closely with a small, engineering‑focused team to ship high‑impact features. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement interactive UI features and real‑time systems using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind. - Convert Figma mockups into reliable, responsive production code. - Own end‑to‑end feature development, from design handoff to testing and deployment. - Maintain and improve frontend architecture, coding standards, and documentation. - Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot UI bugs, and optimize performance. - Evaluate and iterate on AI coding tools, contributing insights to internal tooling. **Required Skills:** - Strong expertise in React/Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. - Proven experience designing and building scalable frontend architectures. - Ability to translate high‑fidelity Figma designs into functional UI. - Familiarity with real‑time data handling (e.g., websockets, streaming APIs). - Proficient with version control (Git) and modern CI/CD pipelines. - Solid testing practices (unit, integration, end‑to‑end). - Good judgment on the strengths/limitations of AI‑assisted development tools. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., React, TypeScript) are a plus but not mandatory.
