Job Title: Project Manager – Guidewire Systems (Hybrid)
Role Summary: Drive end‑to‑end delivery of large-scale Guidewire implementations for P&C insurers, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical quality, and schedule. Lead cross‑functional teams across Agile and hybrid environments, manage cloud/on‑prem deployments, integrations, and data migration activities.
Expectations: • Oversee 10–15 years of IT experience, focusing on 5+ years in Guidewire. • Deliver complex programs for Tier‑1 or global insurers on time, within scope, and budget. • Serve as trusted advisor to clients, facilitating change management and stakeholder communication. • Maintain high standards of quality, governance, and compliance in all project artifacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full project lifecycle for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter implementations.
- Define project scope, schedule, and budget; track and report progress to executive sponsors.
- Coordinate architecture, integration, data migration, and deployment (cloud/on‑prem) activities.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprints, retrospectives) and implement hybrid delivery practices.
- Manage risks, issues, and change requests; enforce mitigation and contingency plans.
- Mentor and coach functional and technical team members; promote continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive successful hand‑over, training, and post‑go‑live support.
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Guidewire product suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
- Expertise in P&C insurance domain processes (policy lifecycle, claims, billing).
- Proven experience with integrations, data migration, and cloud/on‑prem deployments.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet tight deadlines.
- Leadership experience leading cross‑functional, geographically distributed teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- PMP, SAFe, or certified Agile (Scrum Master, Product Owner) credential required.
