Job Description
**Job Title** Legal Intern – Intellectual Property & Contracts **Role Summary** Support the legal department of a global gaming publisher by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating intellectual property and contract agreements, managing brand portfolios, and contributing to compliance initiatives. Work cross‑functionally with studios, publishing, and marketing teams. **Expectations** - Current law student in the final year or recent graduate (M2, IEJ, or equivalent). - Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. - Bilingual in French (native) and English (fluent). - Proactive, time‑management oriented, and collaborative mindset. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Draft and review contracts related to copyrights, trademarks, image rights, software, and AI. 2. Maintain and monitor brand and domain name portfolios. 3. Draft internal guides, FAQs, and training materials on IP matters. 4. Assist in negotiation and drafting of distribution, licensing, and partnership agreements. 5. Analyze and advise on contractual clauses. 6. Contribute to the Sapin II compliance program and governance initiatives. 7. Conduct weekly legal monitoring on IP, technology, and commercial law. 8. Prepare analytical notes and research documents. 9. Provide general legal support to operational departments (studios, publishing, marketing). **Required Skills** - Expertise in intellectual property and contract law. - Excellent written and oral communication in French and English. - Strong legal research and analytical abilities. - Ability to synthesize complex information and produce clear deliverables. - Time‑management and prioritization. - Collaborative, open to cross‑functional work, and interested in digital and gaming law. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master 2 law, IEJ, or equivalent. - CRFPA, DJCE, LL.M., or Sciences Po with a focus on IP law. - Specialization in intellectual property and digital/business law.
