Job Description
**Job title:** Field Applications Engineer Spring Intern **Role Summary:** Assist in the setup, validation, and troubleshooting of LitePoint wireless test solutions on customer devices over a 3‑6 month internship. Works closely with a mentor to develop software tools, run regression tests, and analyze test results to ensure product compliance and performance. **Expectations:** - 3‑6 month onsite internship beginning January 2026. - Regular collaboration with mentoring engineer and cross‑functional teams. - Contribution to coding/scripting, regression testing, and failure debugging. - Documentation of test procedures and results. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure and validate LitePoint application solutions on customer hardware. - Develop and execute C/C++ code and scripts for test automation. - Run regression tests on QA stations and review test analytics. - Duplicate, debug, and resolve hardware/software failures. - Record findings and update test documentation. - Communicate status and issues to support and engineering teams. **Required Skills:** - Understanding of wireless communications and RF fundamentals. - Experience with C/C++ programming. - Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently under guidance and manage detail. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s (3rd year or later) or Master’s program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - No specific certifications required; knowledge of RF test equipment or software tools is a plus.
