Job Description
Job Title: Human Resource Intern Role Summary: Provides on‑the‑job training in HR operations, supporting compliance projects and process improvement initiatives while developing foundational knowledge of HR policies, client service, and business collaboration. Expectations: - Complete assigned tasks on time and in accordance with established HR procedures and policies. - Apply up‑to‑date HR knowledge, data analysis, and available resources to support projects. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to solve business problems and meet project deliverables. - Communicate progress, flag potential issues, and recommend improvement opportunities. - Engage in self‑development, solicit feedback, and adapt to evolving responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with handbooks and policy development for new and existing clients. - Support implementation of time‑off tracking systems and other compliance tools. - Participate in projects that enhance client productivity and reduce liability. - Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to resolve day‑to‑day operational matters. - Document project status, prepare reports, and contribute to departmental objectives. - Follow guidelines for confidentiality and data security throughout all HR activities. Required Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and within team settings. - Basic data analysis and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Knowledge of HR compliance concepts (minimum exposure to employment law, policy development). - Problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities. - Adaptability to changing priorities and feedback. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in, or completion of, a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Valid U.S. work authorization for internship duration.
