Job title: Salesforce Architect Role Summary: Provide technical leadership and architecture for a planet‑scale public cloud SaaS platform, driving end‑to‑end solutions from user research through production deployment. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, scalable, production‑ready code and APIs that support millions of users; mentor junior staff; actively participate in all phases of the SDLC in a hybrid engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop distributed, multi‑tenant systems and services. • Build robust APIs and related frameworks that meet performance & scaling requirements. • Write efficient, production‑grade code, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices. • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction. • Contribute to continuous integration, testing, and automation across the platform. • Participate in empathy studies, ideation, and customer‑success initiatives. Required Skills: • 15+ years total experience, 2+ years in software development. • Deep knowledge of object‑oriented programming concepts. • Mastery of at least two programming languages (Java, Python, Scala, C#, Go, Node.js, or C++). • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational (PostgreSQL, Redshift) and non‑relational (Mongo, Trino) databases. • Proven experience designing and building distributed, scalable, SaaS products on public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Familiarity with micro‑service architectures and multi‑tenant SaaS environments. • Excellent design, code quality, and testing practices. Required Education & Certifications: • Technical degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
