Job Description
Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and migration of Medicaid eligibility systems, creating cloud-native architectures that automate complex determination processes. Collaborate with business, development, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions. Expectations: Deliver end‑to‑end architecture for large‑scale, state‑wide health programs; manage cross‑functional teams and vendor relationships; maintain high standards of quality, security, and compliance with Medicaid regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Assess current infrastructure and business requirements to craft optimal cloud strategies. • Design and implement containerized solutions (Kubernetes, Docker) for scalable, reliable services. • Define API standards and engage in microservices integration. • Architect Managed File Transfer (MFT) for secure data exchange. • Plan and execute migration of applications, data, and infrastructure from on‑prem to cloud (AWS, GCP). • Monitor cloud performance, optimize cost and scalability, and mitigate technical risks. • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring SLA compliance. • Communicate progress and technical concepts to stakeholders across all levels. Required Skills: • Proven solution architecture in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). • Experience with Salesforce Low‑code platform and API design in microservices. • Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • MFT implementation expertise. • Vendor management and SLA oversight. • Healthcare or Medicaid program domain knowledge preferred. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 8 years IT experience, including 3 years managing teams. • 5 years architectural experience in Java/Python and AWS/GCP. • 3 years Salesforce Low‑code architecture and development. • AWS or GCP industry certifications (preferred).
