Job Description
**Job Title** Technical Sales Representative – Office Based **Role Summary** Provide technical and commercial support to professional clients from a centralized desk, collaborating closely with an itinerant sales partner. Manage pricing proposals, order processing, and commercial disputes while developing the customer portfolio to increase revenue. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality customer service and technical expertise on industrial components. - Actively pursue sales opportunities within assigned territory through prospecting and follow‑up. - Maintain and grow a portfolio of professional accounts to achieve sales targets. **Key Responsibilities** - Respond to inbound client inquiries (telephone, email) with timely, accurate information. - Prepare, negotiate, and manage price quotations and contractual terms. - Process orders, ensure correct documentation, and coordinate with logistics and billing. - Resolve commercial disputes, liaise between client and internal teams. - Track sales metrics and generate reports on activities, opportunities, and outcomes. - Collaborate daily with the field sales partner to align strategy and support field initiatives. **Required Skills** - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Commercial acumen: ability to interpret technical data and translate it into customer value. - Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Self‑motivation, initiative, and ability to work independently. - Basic problem‑solving and negotiation capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor of Technology or equivalent (Bac+2 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related technical field). - Additional commercial training or coursework preferred. ---
