Job Description
**Job Title:** Materials Planner/Contract **Role Summary:** Coordinate procurement of raw materials and components to support production schedules, minimize inventory, and resolve supply disruptions. **Expactations:** - Deliver on procurement timelines and inventory targets. - Quickly identify and resolve exceptions to maintain production flow. - Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify, source, and purchase raw materials and components required by branches (inter‑company and external). - Release purchase orders with sufficient lead time to meet production schedules. - Monitor supply chain performance and address exceptions (supplier issues, logistic delays, demand spikes). - Forecast material requirements and update planning data in the ERP system. - Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics to align material availability with output plans. - Maintain accurate data and documentation for audit and continuous improvement. **Required Skills:** - Experience in material planning or related supply chain functions. - Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities. - Initiative and self‑management of conflicting priorities. - Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel. - Effective teamwork and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
