Job Description
Job title: IT Support Executive Role Summary: Deliver end‑to‑end IT support, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, operating systems, and cloud services. Manage the service desk, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient operation of the ICT infrastructure. Expactations: Provide timely, high‑quality technical assistance to users; maintain current expertise in Microsoft 365/O365, Azure, and related technologies; adhere to ITIL/ITSM processes; collaborate effectively with internal teams and third‑party vendors. Key Responsibilities: - Install and configure IT hardware, software, OS, and applications. - Offer remote and face‑to‑face user support. - Operate and monitor infrastructure and cloud services. - Develop and maintain support standards and documentation. - Manage the service‑desk platform, prioritise tickets, and update stakeholders. - Escalate and resolve hardware and software faults with vendors. - Test, validate, and deploy fixes before widespread deployment. - Ensure compliance with health and safety, cost‑control, and quality systems. - Foster strong user and partner relationships. Required Skills: - Proven IT support and service desk experience in a medium‑scale environment. - Expertise in Microsoft 365/O365, Windows, Office, and Azure cloud services. - Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, OS, and network issues. - Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work in a fast‑paced, complex setting. - Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM best practices and change management. - Self‑management, prioritisation, and time‑management capabilities. - Commitment to safety and cost‑effectiveness. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. - Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator certification; Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator preferred.
