Job Description

Job Title: Global Strategic Sourcing Manager Role Summary: Lead strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives across European operations of a global manufacturing group. Serve as the subject matter expert in supplier management, ensuring consistency, compliance, and excellence in quality, cost, delivery, and service performance. Expectations - Drive supplier consolidation, contract negotiations, and cost improvement across multiple business units. - Apply standardized sourcing processes and performance metrics consistently across the group. - Deliver measurable improvements in supplier quality, delivery, cost, and service while supporting sustainability and regulatory goals. Key Responsibilities - Partner with senior leadership to align sourcing strategies and implement best‑practice standards. - Lead European supplier consolidation and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings. - Ensure consistent application of sourcing processes, compliance standards, and performance metrics. - Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality, delivery, cost, and service. - Support sustainability and regulatory objectives within sourcing activities. - Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to site supply‑chain teams to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions. Required Skills - 10+ years progressive supply chain leadership in global multi‑site heavy industrial manufacturing. - Skilled negotiator with strong commercial and analytical acumen. - Ability to influence senior leaders and lead cross‑functional initiatives. - Proficiency in contract negotiation, supplier consolidation, and cost improvement. - Knowledge of sourcing processes, compliance standards, and performance measurement. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering. - Preferred certifications: CPSM, CPIM, CSCP. - Willingness to travel to European sites as required.
