Job Description
**Job title:** Graduate / Junior Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer – Nuclear **Role Summary:** A full‑time engineering graduate assigned to Ontario’s nuclear fleet transformation. Works under a PEng mentor, delivering electrical and instrumentation & controls (I&C) design, analysis, and documentation to meet client and regulatory requirements. **Expectations:** - Receive technical mentorship and professional development within a nuclear engineering team. - Contribute to project deliverables on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards. - Build technical competence in electrical and I&C engineering, project communication, and problem‑solving. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Perform electrical and/or I&C engineering tasks under PEng supervision, including studies, analyses, design calculations, and report preparation. 2. Prepare detailed designs, drawings, specifications, data packages, and reports. 3. Communicate progress and technical issues to the engineering team and project stakeholders. 4. Identify engineering problems, develop solutions, and seek guidance when needed. 5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on electric and I&C components of nuclear projects. 6. Ensure work meets statutory, regulatory, and client specifications. 7. Assist in validation, verification, and testing documentation. 8. Maintain accurate project documentation and file management. **Required Skills:** - Bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, or related Engineering. - Fundamental knowledge of electrical and I&C principles and basic exposure to other engineering disciplines. - Proficiency with MS Office Suite; familiarity with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETABS, PVSC). - Analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem‑solving mindset. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and within a team. - Willingness to obtain Canadian Security Nuclear Clearance. - Experience in a summer internship or similar engineering environment is an asset. - Nuclear industry exposure preferred but not mandatory. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Accredited Engineering degree (Electrical and/or Instrumentation & Controls). - Eligibility to acquire Professional Engineer registration with PEO (Professional Engineers Ontario). - Willingness to pursue Canadian Security Nuclear Clearance as required.

**Job Title** Pipefitter Supervisor **Role Summary** Lead the pipefitting team in fabricating, installing, maintaining, and hydrotesting piping systems for liquids, gases, and hazardous chemicals. Ensure all work complies with technical specifications, health and safety regulations, and company procedures. **Expectations** - Manage workflow, allocate work scopes, and support estimating activities. - Deliver toolbox talks and safety training on behalf of the organization. - Provide on‑site support to workshop and site management. - Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare and finish workpieces using machine and hand tools. - Measure, mark, and thread pipework to specifications and tolerances. - Weld and assemble pipe components and systems. - Secure pipes to brackets, clamps, and clips; repair, maintain, and clear obstructions. - Conduct hydrotesting of pressurised systems. - Supervise pipe fabrication processes and enforce health & safety legislation. - Allocate job packs and oversee completion quality. - Assist in estimating and project planning. **Required Skills** - Strong mechanical knowledge of piping systems. - Proficiency in welding, threading, and pipe modification. - Ability to measure, mark, and inspect to tight tolerances. - Experience with hydrotesting and safety procedures. - Leadership and training skills for toolbox talks. - Good communication and teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current CCNSG Safety Passport. - LaTS Card or Supervisor Safety Passport. - Proof of apprenticeship (indentures, etc.). - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (e.g., SVQ/C&G Level 3, ACE).
