Job title: Software Sales Specialist Role Summary: Drive growth in AI‑powered software sales by crafting and executing strategic sales plans, presenting compelling product demonstrations, and cultivating lasting client relationships, primarily within the Grammarly product suite. Expectations: 6‑month fixed‑term contract with a base salary of £30,000 plus uncapped commission up to £50,000 OTE. Must meet or exceed sales targets, continuously learn AI applications, and maintain a proactive, resilient sales approach. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement sales strategies to expand customer base and achieve revenue goals. - Prospect and qualify leads, conduct product demonstrations focused on AI capabilities, and close deals. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing support throughout the sales cycle. - Collaborate with marketing and cross‑functional teams to design impactful campaigns and stay ahead of AI industry trends. - Track sales metrics, forecast performance, and report results to management. Required Skills: - Proven experience in software sales. - Deep understanding of AI technologies and their business applications. - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. - Resilience, curiosity, and a proactive, self‑driven mindset. - Quick learner comfortable with adapting to new challenges. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Sales certification advantageous (e.g., Certified Inside Sales Professional, HubSpot Sales Software).
