Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Intern Role Summary: Assist in building and expanding the B2B client portfolio for an AI‑focused aerospace and defense company. Collaborate closely with sales management, marketing, and technical teams to generate leads, craft sales materials, and support business development activities. Expectations: - 4–6 month internship starting in January 2026. - Contribute to prospecting and qualifying new industrial and institutional leads in defense, space, and advanced technology sectors. - Participate in proposal development for tenders and public calls (BPI, CNES, DGA, etc.). Key Responsibilities: - Conduct outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, social selling) to identify and qualify potential clients. - Develop and refine sales tools, pitches, case studies, and use‑case presentations tailored to target markets. - Manage initial commercial interactions: scheduling meetings, following up, and documenting conversations in the CRM. - Maintain and update prospect database; produce regular commercial activity reports. - Collaborate with sales and marketing on the design and execution of prospecting strategies and conversion tactics. Required Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication in French (required); English proficiency welcomed. - Self‑motivated, organized, curious, and proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset. - Basic understanding of tech, deep‑tech, and AI concepts. - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently enrolled in a business school, IAE, or equivalent (Bachelor + 3 to Bachelor + 5 level). - Relevant coursework or prior experience in B2B commercial development is an advantage. ---
