Job Description

**Job Title:** Azure Data Architect **Role Summary:** Lead the design, documentation, and implementation of scalable data solutions within the Azure Analytics stack, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and stakeholder needs while fostering knowledge sharing across teams. **Expectations:** - Apply Agile/Safe practices across cross‑functional product teams. - Communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels. - Demonstrate thought leadership and mentoring in data technologies. - Drive continuous improvement of data processes and governance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own end‑to‑end data architecture (design, modeling, deployment). - Develop and maintain logical/physical data models; document architecture. - Design and enforce data governance, master data, metadata, quality, and security policies. - Collaborate with compliance, privacy, risk, security, support, and operations teams. - Provide technical leadership during development phases; contribute code and best practices. - Serve on the architects guild, guiding teams on data management processes. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions and domain knowledge. - Deliver training and coaching to uplift team capabilities. **Required Skills:** - Deep expertise in Azure data services: Databricks, ADLS, Azure SQL Database. - Proficient in Python or Spark for data processing. - Experience with Power BI, ADF, Angular a plus. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset. - Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English, French a plus. - Agile/Safe methodology familiarity. - Ability to design robust, scalable architectures following industry standards. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field. - Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑DP-303, AZ‑DP-304, AU‑DP-900) or equivalent proven experience.
