Job Description
**Job title:** Salesforce Principal Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions; shape architectural strategy while actively coding and mentoring a technical team to achieve secure, high‑performance integrations across financial systems. **Expectations:** - Own the Salesforce roadmap, driving architectural decisions that align with business goals. - Deliver clean, testable Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Flow implementations. - Mentor junior developers/administrators and cultivate technical excellence. - Influence cross‑functional teams and stakeholder directions with confidence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and evolve overall Salesforce architecture and infrastructure strategy. - Design, develop, and implement solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and Flow. - Integrate Salesforce with external enterprise systems, ensuring security and performance. - Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Oversee customization and configuration, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards. - Participate fully in the software development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, deployment, support. - Drive Agile and LeSS ceremonies, promoting iterative value delivery. - Stay current on Salesforce platform advancements and best practices; incorporate them into architecture. **Required Skills:** - In‑depth experience with Salesforce data models, security architecture, and platform development (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, Flow). - Strong understanding of system integration, API design, and performance optimization. - Proven ability to mentor and lead a technical team. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Familiarity with Agile/LeSS methodologies. - Knowledge of regulated/financial services environments is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or Architect certification (or commitment to obtain). - Advanced level of experience in Salesforce architecture and best practices preferred.
