**Job Title** CTO – Fintech/Digital Assets **Role Summary** Own technology strategy, platform development, and regulatory credibility for a digital‑assets company. Lead architecture, build‑vs‑buy decisions, and team optimisation while directly coding and collaborating with investors and regulators. **Expactations** - Execute a clear technology vision that aligns with business goals and regulatory mandates. - Demonstrate hands‑on engineering capabilities and senior leadership in board & investor interactions. - Deliver end‑to‑end security, data, and integration frameworks meeting SOC 2/ISO 27001 standards. - Scale the platform for multi‑channel growth (D2C, RIA, Family Office, B2B2C). **Key Responsibilities** 1. Develop and maintain technology vision, architecture roadmap, and build‑vs‑buy strategy. 2. Assess current systems (Salesforce‑centric core) and design secure, scalable target architecture. 3. Evaluate and optimise team structure, skills, and Agile delivery practices; recommend hiring/outsource plans. 4. Align product roadmap with realistic tech execution; prioritize releases to meet commercial and regulatory milestones. 5. Represent technology at investor meetings, board sessions, and due diligence; provide technical insights for fundraising. 6. Define regulatory‑compliant security and risk roadmap across UK, US, and CH; lead audits and certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001). **Required Skills** - VP/CTO‑level leadership in crypto, digital assets, or fintech. - Proven record of building and scaling production platforms. - Deep expertise in secure architecture, data governance, and integration frameworks. - Hands‑on coding proficiency and Agile delivery knowledge. - Strong regulatory and risk management acumen (UK, US, CH). - Investor‑ready communication and board‑level presentation skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset capable of operating in ambiguity and rapid change. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Certifications in cloud architecture, security (e.g., CISSP, CISA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
