Job Description: **Job Title** Backend Senior Developer **Role Summary** Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable backend services for a computer‑vision platform on Azure. Build high‑performance RESTful APIs, deploy vision models to AKS, manage data storage, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with mobile, iOS, and Android teams to deliver end‑to‑end digital solutions. **Expectations** - Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience. - Proven track record supporting a production product with a large user base. - Strong ownership mindset, independent problem‑solving, and commitment to quality. - Agile, Scrum‑driven workflow and effective communication across cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js (TypeScript / Express.js). - Deploy and operate computer‑vision services (Python / C++) on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). - Manage image, object, and metadata storage using MongoDB, Redis, and optional PostgreSQL. - Write and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests. - Lead code reviews, enforce coverage metrics, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Diagnose and resolve production incidents and integration issues. - Produce concise, functional technical documentation. - Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Required Skills** - Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js. - Strong knowledge of Python and C++ for service development. - Hands‑on experience with Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Docker. - Proficiency with Git workflows (branching, rebases, reviews). - Advanced testing practices (Jest, Mocha, Pytest) and CI pipeline configuration. - Experience with document databases (MongoDB) and in‑memory stores (Redis). - Familiarity with computer‑vision concepts (OpenCV, ML models) and mobile ecosystems (iOS/Android). - Agile/Scrum experience; self‑managed and collaborative. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field **or** equivalent professional experience. - Azure Certified Developer (optional but preferred).
