Job Description
**Job Title:** Engineering Intern **Role Summary:** Internship within a pharmaceutical manufacturing site to support engineering projects, focusing on the qualification of industrial washers, cleaning validation, and primary packaging change studies. Responsibilities include project planning, stakeholder coordination, protocol development, and on‑site execution for a six‑month term. **Expectations:** - Deliver project documentation and progress reports to senior engineers and cross‑functional teams. - Apply industry‑standard project management tools and methodologies. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all technical activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, monitor, and report on projects related to washer qualification and cleaning validation. - Define wash cycles, develop test protocols, and validate cleaning processes during water quality changes. - Coordinate with internal departments (production, quality, finance) and external partners. - Conduct a study on aseptic filling line packaging changes, assessing performance, technical impact, cost, lead time, and regulatory obligations. - Provide training to production staff and support on‑site requirements. **Required Skills:** - Project management fundamentals (planning, scheduling, reporting). - Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes: washer operation, cleaning validation, aseptic filling. - Strong analytical and risk‑assessment abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic project management software. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollee in an engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering). - Familiarity with GMP/GMP‑related regulations is a plus. - No specific certifications required, but understanding of ISO 13485 or ISO 14971 is advantageous.
