Job Description
Job title: IT Intern – Web Team Role Summary: 20‑24 hour per week, short‑term technology internship focused on web applications. Interns will work with .NET code, JavaScript, PowerShell, unit testing, low‑code/no‑code solutions, SharePoint and WordPress, gaining hands‑on experience while supporting cross‑functional teams. Expectations: - Current student in Information Technology or a related associate or bachelor’s program. - GPA 3.2 or higher. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities, multitask, and take ownership of tasks. - Strong communication, writing and analytical skills. - Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with code and configuration changes to existing .NET applications using C#, JavaScript, and PowerShell. - Support unit testing and automated testing efforts. - Contribute to low‑code/no‑code application development. - Assist with SharePoint and WordPress platform tasks. - Communicate and collaborate with internal customers and cross‑team members. Required Skills: - Proficiency with desktop operating systems, particularly Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite. - Fundamental understanding of scripting and programming concepts; familiarity with C# preferred. - Effective verbal and written communication. - Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and ownership mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in an information technology or related associate’s or bachelor’s degree program. - GPA of 3.2 or higher. - No specific certifications required.
