Job Description
**Job Title:** Cloud Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, build, and secure cloud environments for mission-critical federal programs, implementing hands-on cloud security and DevSecOps practices, collaborating with engineers, developers, and compliance teams to ensure secure cloud solutions from inception. **Expectations:** - Active Secret clearance required. - 3–5 years in cybersecurity or cloud engineering, with 2+ years in cloud security. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement and maintain security controls in AWS, Azure, GCP environments. - Apply security baselines aligned with CIS, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP. - Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for secure configurations. - Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, IaC scanning, container security). - Implement monitoring and compliance measures for cloud environments. - Support vulnerability remediation and incident response activities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into cloud projects. **Required Skills:** - Active Secret clearance. - Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP. - Cloud-native security tools expertise (e.g., Security Hub, Defender for Cloud, Google SCC). - IaC proficiency (Terraform). - Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash). - Knowledge of IAM, encryption, networking, key management. - Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, FedRAMP). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
