Job Title: Business Analyst
Role Summary:
Senior Business Analyst responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications and quality-assured solutions within the Asset Management domain. Acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment across portfolio management, operations, compliance, and development functions.
Expectations:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Asset Management/Investment Banking/Capital Markets.
- Deep knowledge of equities, fixed income, derivatives, mutual funds, ETFs, and alternatives.
- Demonstrated QA expertise covering test design, execution, and defect management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from portfolio managers, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
- Define business processes, workflows, and use cases; create functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct business process analysis and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with QA to develop test strategy, scenarios, and validate functionality; lead UAT and support end‑users.
- Maintain data integrity, consistency, and regulatory compliance throughout delivery cycles.
- Support development during design, implementation, and deployment phases.
- Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder meetings to achieve consensus.
- Bridge business and IT to ensure on‑time, high‑quality project delivery.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in requirement gathering, functional specification writing, and business process mapping.
- Hands‑on QA experience: test case design, test execution, defect tracking.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, ALM, or equivalent requirement and testing tools.
- Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-ACP, PMP) are preferred but not mandatory.
