Job Description
Job Title: Consulting Intern, Procurement & Supply Chain Management Role Summary: Support senior consultants in delivering procurement and supply‑chain optimization services to global clients, including data analysis, strategy development, and change‑management implementation. Expectations: Demonstrate analytical rigor, effective communication in French and English, and the ability to collaborate across functional teams in a fast‑paced consulting environment. Deliver high‑quality deliverables within project timelines and contribute to client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of clients’ purchasing and supply‑chain processes across direct (COGS) and indirect (OPEX) categories, as well as CAPEX initiatives. - Assist in formulating and presenting purchasing and supplier‑relationship strategies to clients. - Support implementation of agreed strategies, including monitoring progress and driving incremental improvements at client sites. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of consulting engagements. - Prepare professional client deliverables using advanced PowerPoint and Excel techniques; maintain project documentation and dashboards. - Participate in client workshops, interviews, and facilitated sessions to gather insights and validate assumptions. - Contribute to bi‑annual and ad‑hoc industry research to support strategy recommendations. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, charts, modeling). - Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities with structured problem‑solving approach. - Fluency in French and English (written and verbal). - Proven teamwork, adaptability, and proactive communication in multicultural settings. - Familiarity with procurement frameworks (e.g., Sourcing, Vendor Management, Cost Analysis) and supply‑chain principles. - Prior exposure to consulting, purchasing, supply‑chain, finance, or private‑equity environments is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Current Master’s Student (Level 1 or 2) in Engineering, Business, Supply‑Chain Management, or related discipline from a reputed institution. - Completion of a foundational university degree in a relevant field. - Relevant coursework in procurement, supply‑chain analytics, finance, or strategic management.
