Job Description

**Job title** Business Analyst **Role Summary** Serve as the liaison between healthcare stakeholders and product & engineering teams within a SaaS wound‑care platform. Translate complex clinical and administrative workflows into clear product requirements, facilitate the product lifecycle, and ensure regulatory compliance. **Expectations** * Deliver functional specifications and user stories that enable scalable, compliant solutions. * Drive data‑driven insights to optimize product adoption and clinical outcomes. * Maintain alignment between business strategy, product priorities, and engineering execution. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop workflow diagrams, use cases, and functional specifications for engineering and QA teams. * Elicit, document, and refine business needs from internal and external stakeholders. * Translate clinical and administrative workflows into product requirements and user stories. * Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions aligned with healthcare standards and regulations. * Prioritize features and enhancements in partnership with product managers. * Validate regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) for all product features. * Support UAT: create test scenarios, validate outcomes, collect feedback. * Collaborate with QA to ensure quality releases. * Analyze SaaS usage and healthcare data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. * Provide actionable insights for product optimization and regulatory reporting. * Facilitate workshops, demos, and training for new features. * Maintain clear, concise documentation for stakeholders. **Required Skills** * Strong understanding of healthcare workflows (EHR/EMR, claims, patient engagement, telehealth). * Knowledge of healthcare standards and compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR). * Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps). * Proficiency in data analysis and reporting (SQL, Tableau, Power BI). * Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. * 3+ years as a Business Analyst in SaaS or healthcare technology. * Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
