Job Description

Job title: C++ Engineer Role Summary: Engineer responsible for developing and improving precision metrology software and hardware integration. Supports design, implementation, maintenance, and user‑centric enhancements of products using C++, Qt, OpenCV, and PyTorch. Works closely with R&D, contributes to user interface development, and provides evolving support. Expactations: - Strong motivation to work in a small, innovative environment - Prior experience in a similar software engineering role - Ability to collaborate actively in a cross‑functional team - User‑focused mindset and a drive to continuously improve product quality - English proficiency at B2 level or higher Key Responsibilities: - Analyse client requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications - Optimize existing codebase for performance and multithreading - Implement new algorithms and deep‑learning modules for image analysis (OpenCV, PyTorch) - Integrate third‑party libraries for camera and motor control - Develop and maintain Qt‑based graphical user interfaces - Provide ongoing maintenance, feature updates, and client support - Conduct competitive and technology watch to keep the product portfolio current Required Skills: - Proficient in C++ with experience in Qt application development - Familiarity with multithreading, performance profiling, and algorithm optimization - Knowledge of image processing (OpenCV) and deep‑learning frameworks (PyTorch) - Experience with hardware integration (cameras, motors) and relevant APIs - Working knowledge of Python and JavaScript preferred - Understanding of database principals beneficial - Strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication abilities - English (B2) or higher proficiency Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field - Relevant certifications in C++ or software development advantageous but not mandatory.
