Job Description: **Job Title:** Doctor – AI Research Clinical Expert **Role Summary:** Provide clinical expertise for remote, ongoing AI projects in healthcare. Involve in data labeling, model evaluation, prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and feedback to shape AI systems that improve clinical workflows and patient care. **Expectations:** - Maintain an active GMC licence; practice within UK regulations. - Commit to asynchronous, flexible scheduling that accommodates clinical duties. - Engage consistently with diverse AI tasks, from annotation to evaluation, across modalities (text, audio, video, imaging). - Deliver high‑quality, clinically accurate outputs and constructive feedback. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review and label clinical notes, recordings, and images per established guidelines. - Conduct human‑in‑the‑loop evaluations of LLMs and AI models for accuracy, safety, and clinical relevance. - Design, test, and refine prompts to improve model performance. - Support fine‑tuning by generating instruction/response datasets and exploring edge‑case scenarios. - Perform error analysis, identify critical failure points, and recommend mitigation strategies. - Develop and refine scoring rubrics for quality assurance. - Collaborate with researchers to update annotation standards and evaluation protocols. **Required Skills:** - Active GMC‑licensed UK medical practitioner. - Native or near‑native English proficiency (spoken & written). - Profound understanding of clinical terminology, workflows, and documentation standards. - Excellent summarisation and written communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical accuracy. - Self‑directed, reliable in an asynchronous remote environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB, MD, etc.) and registration with the GMC. - (Optional) Experience or training in data annotation, AI model evaluation, or human‑computer interaction.
