Job Description
Job Title: GA4 & GTM Specialist Role Summary: Design, implement, and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) solutions across client websites. Analyze data to surface actionable insights that drive performance improvements and optimize the user journey. Deliver custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for stakeholders. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality tagging and analytics initiatives on time, maintain data integrity, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy and maintain GA4 properties and GTM containers on client sites. - Build and maintain event tags, triggers, and variables; configure data layers and API integrations. - Create and refine custom reports, explorations, and dashboards in GA4 and Looker Studio. - Conduct deep‑dive analyses of traffic, conversion funnels, and audience segments to identify optimization opportunities. - Provide data‑driven recommendations for website and UX improvements in collaboration with product, design, and development teams. - Monitor and troubleshoot data collection accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly. Required Skills: - Extensive experience with GA4 and GTM implementation and maintenance. - Strong analytical skills, proficiency in interpreting large datasets and identifying patterns. - Advanced knowledge of event tracking, segmentation, audiences, and customer journey mapping. - Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker Studio, or similar data‑visualization tools. - Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver precise documentation. - Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative team player. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) preferred. ---
