Job Description: Job Title: Full Stack Developer / Engineer Role Summary: Develop and maintain high‑performance web applications and databases for a B2B SaaS wine‑industry platform. Own feature lifecycle from conception to deployment, collaborate in cross‑functional teams, and provide code ownership and scalability solutions. Expactations: * Deliver clean, well‑tested code within Agile sprints. * Own functional components and database design, ensuring reliability and performance. * Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews. * Communicate effectively with product, design and operations teams. * Keep abreast of emerging web and database technologies. Key Responsibilities: * Build and maintain complex web applications using full‑stack technologies. * Design, develop and optimize REST APIs. * Create and optimize Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures, queries and indexing. * Design database schemas that support scalable, high‑availability solutions. * Monitor, troubleshoot and improve database performance. * Participate in code reviews, testing and documentation. * Mentor teammates and assist the Head of Engineering in team management. * Stay current with full‑stack and database trends; evaluate new tools and practices. Required Skills: * 4–5 years of commercial software development experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server; strong SQL, stored procedures, query optimisation. * C# development skill set. * JavaScript experience (frontend or backend). * Version control experience with SVN. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative development. * Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
