A Northern Virginia-based precision machine and sheet metal shop with an outstanding history of producing high-quality products and delivering exceptional customer service. With more than 4 axis capabilities, our state-of-the-art HAAS CNC lathes and verticals custom-make critical parts for many industries. Phoenix Companies, precision machines all types of aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and any other soft metals. Additionally, we engrave, powder coat, iridite and silkscreen any parts. Phoenix Companies, LLC, (Originally TEK-AM) was founded in 1967. Over time, the original partners proved that they could grow the company by providing the best precision machining and sheet metal parts. Their association grew in popularity over the years with customers ranging from prototype start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, to DoD and government clients. In Fall of 2009, Phoenix Companies expanded to include a full powder coat booth and expanded finishing services with expanded welding capabilities, an iridite line, and a line of graphics and silkscreen production. Job Description
Job title: 2026 Intern – ReImagine Role Summary: Six‑week, full‑time internship charged with supporting an innovation and marketing team to grow podcast presence and digital outreach. Responsibilities include market research on startups, content creation for social platforms, data‑driven campaign analysis, video production assistance, and event support. Expactations: * Deliver timely, data‑backed insights to refine guest selection and campaign strategy for three podcasts. * Produce engaging social media assets and copy, adhering to brand guidelines. * Collaborate cross‑functionally, presenting findings to leadership and participating in iterative feedback cycles. * Manage multiple small projects from conception through launch within a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Research and evaluate emerging startups and industry trends relevant to podcast themes. * Create, edit, and optimize social media posts, graphics, and copy for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. * Analyze podcast performance using Google Analytics, Google Ads, and marketing automation dashboards; generate regular reports. * Support video production activities, including scripting, scheduling, and basic editing. * Provide on‑site assistance for innovation‑focused events and webinars. * Conduct keyword research and apply findings to content and ad copy. * Manage ad hoc reporting, analysis, and project documentation. Required Skills: * Strong written and verbal communication; creative storytelling. * Proficiency with social media platforms and content management systems. * Ability to interpret analytics data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. * Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable asking questions. * Basic graphic design experience (Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop/InDesign). * Project management aptitude; ability to drive tasks to completion.
