**Job Title:** Risk Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of a comprehensive risk management framework for large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring risks to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and strategic objectives are identified, assessed, and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver data‑driven risk insights to support informed decision‑making by senior leadership.
- Align risk processes with industry standards and project governance.
- Foster a proactive risk culture across design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations interfaces.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain the project risk management plan, procedures, and governance structure.
- Establish and sustain risk identification, tracking, analysis, and reporting tools and systems.
- Lead risk workshops, produce risk registers, and categorize strategic, operational, technical, commercial, environmental, and regulatory risks.
- Conduct qualitative probability/impact assessments and quantitative analyses (Monte Carlo simulation, cost/schedule risk models).
- Prepare risk‑adjusted cost estimates, schedule forecasts, and scenario models for business cases and funding submissions.
- Define mitigation strategies, assign risk owners, and monitor implementation and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with cost, schedule, and performance management teams to integrate risk information into critical path analysis, risk‑adjusted business cases, and procurement/contracts.
- Produce dashboards, heat maps, and regular risk reports for project leadership, steering committees, and external stakeholders.
- Lead periodic risk review sessions, trend analysis, lessons‑learned activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements and support assurance reviews, audits, and stage‑gate approvals.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Proficiency in quantitative risk analysis (QRA), Monte Carlo simulation, cost/schedule risk modeling.
- Experience with risk management software and project controls tools.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving and decision‑support capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and risk‑adjusted recommendations.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications in project risk management (e.g., PHRM, PMI-RMP) or equivalent are highly desirable.
